Yes ! Not only did I have a blast in AZ. this weekend, but I think everyone else in the band did too ! I posted the first Review here and you can read all about it by clicking on that link. Special thanx to Jesse The Super Roadie for putting up with our drunken shenanigans and for allowing us the pleasure of his company over the weekend. Thanks to Bob and Kirby and his lovely 5 year old daughter for hanging out with us on Sat., and for giving Roxie all 200 episodes of Sailor Moon. She's a very happy girl indeed. We're gonna be working on getting the 45 recording done, and practicing our new songs, and we're also working on some killer local shows with some GREAT bands. When I told our Street Team Captain Devon about them, he nearly shit his pants, the little bastard. And after seeing some Roller Derby action up close and personal, all I gotta say is that those AZ. girls are definitely gonna have their hands full with some of Roxie's potential team mates. Brookelyn and Jenn-O-Cide are gonna kill someone, I can already tell ! It sure was fun to watch though, and thanx to those grown up Riott Grrls for their hospitality. And besides the fact that The Loud Pipes are apparently being blacklisted both nationally and locally by 2 very insane females, things are going really good band wise. Hee hee hee. Sometimes I amuse myself... really I do. :-)

Hee hee hee... was that Howard Stern April Fools Day joke funny or what ? Cross & Lopez... that shit was hilarious and too bad if you missed it. The prank was all over the news, and it was entertaining to hear him talking about it this morning. Anyways, The Loud Pipes are off and running to AZ., and I for one am looking forward to it. Not only 'cuz we're playing some cool shows there, but also we get to hang with Bob & Jesse The Super Videographer ! And some (if not all) of the Arizona Roller Derby Girls ! What a deal. And plus I can use a break from all the bad luck I've been having lately. Not only with shit talking females, but dammit I broke another cymbal last night at practice. FUCK ! I hate when that happens. We've been practicing real hard, and last night we sounded great. We're playing Jenny Won't Go again, which I'm so happy about. It's a great song and I missed playing it. We're working on some new songs too, and you'll hear them at our next local show, which I promise you will be very very soon. We have some tentative shows with some big name legendary U.K. bands (3 separate shows with 3 different bands), and plus our Roller Derby show... it's gonna be real busy these next few months. Hopefully we can find some time to finish up the 7" and get that pressed and out. Now that would be super sweet.
